Cal Ripken #1

4. MLB Baseball:

Cal Ripken 2,632 Consecutive Games
  • Cal Ripken set this modern day record giving it extra credibility in the sports arena. Ripken had already set a record of 2,130 games, but on September 6, 1995 he cruised past it and added another 500 straight games before he started to lessen the pressure. Ripken also has a record of playing 8,243 straight innings. Put this up against the fact that only eight players were present for all 162 of their team's games in 2004 and it is even more impressive.
