Michael Phelps, in the Olympic games swim trials for next month in Beijing, sailed to another world record.  Phelps wants to equal or beat, of course, Mark Spitz's record of 7 gold medals in one Olympic games.
Ryan Lochte, a good friend and rival chased him to the fish line, but Phelps broke another world record at 1:54.8.

This was the 7th world record to go down at these Olympic games trials and the second for Phelps. He told reporters, "I was just trying to win the race.  I knew Ryan, even though he had just swum the 200 mete back 30 minutes before, was going to be tough. Both of us hate to lose. Getting n the water with him, that last three or four races it has taken a world record to win."
